Hard water and how it works
How does TENDRA Pure™ work?
Water passes through an 8-stage cartridge on its way to the spray face. Its calcium sulfite and KDF-55 stages are designed to reduce chlorine, and the KDF-55 media was over 99% antibacterial in lab testing. KDF-55 is also designed to help reduce limescale build-up, which matters most in hard-water areas like London.
Does it help with hard water?
TENDRA Pure™ is made for hard-water areas. How much difference you notice depends on how hard your local water is. Check your postcode to see where you stand.
Do I need to add anything to the water?
No. There is nothing to add. The cartridge does the work as water flows through.
Will it lower my water pressure?
It is built to keep a strong spray, with three modes: Rainfall, Massage and Mixed. If pressure drops noticeably over time, the cartridge is usually due a change.
Fitting
How do I install it?
Unscrew your current shower head from the hose by hand and twist TENDRA Pure™ on. No tools, no drilling. Most people are done in a couple of minutes.
Will it fit my shower?
It fits standard UK ½-inch (G1/2) hoses, which most handheld showers use, including most electric, mixer and power showers. Check in 30 seconds, or email a photo to hello@tendrago.com.
Can I use it in a rented flat or halls?
Yes. It fits by hand with no permanent changes. Keep your old head and put it back when you move.
Cartridges and membership
How often do I change the cartridge?
About every 3 months for one person showering daily, sooner if more people share it. Your Shower Score gives a personal estimate.
How much are refills?
A single cartridge is £18. With membership, a fresh one arrives every 3 months for £14.
Can I pause or cancel my membership?
Yes. Skip, pause or cancel any time from your account.
Offers
What bundles do you offer?
Shower head on its own is £48. Add a spare cartridge for just £7 more (£55, save £11), or get the shower head with 3 spare cartridges, a full year of filters, for £75 (save £27). The saving is built into the price, so there is no code to enter.
Can I combine discount codes?
You can use one discount per order: either a discount code or our automatic flat deal for 2 or more shower heads, not both. Bundle savings are already in the price and apply either way.
Delivery and returns
How fast is delivery?
Orders are dispatched from the UK within 1–3 working days by Royal Mail 48, so most arrive within 3–6 working days. UK delivery is free over £35. Worldwide delivery is £5.99, free over £75.
What is your return policy?
You have 30 days from delivery to return your shower head for a full refund, even if you have fitted and used it. How returns work.
My order arrived damaged or wrong. What now?
Please contact us straight away at hello@tendrago.com with your order number and a photo, and we will put it right.
TENDRA Espresso™
What coffee can I use?
Finely ground espresso coffee, or capsules using the capsule adapter in the box.
Can I make iced coffee?
Yes. Fill the tank with cold water for a cold-brewed shot, then pour it over ice and milk. For a classic hot shot, use hot water.
How do I charge it?
With the USB-C cable in the box, from a laptop, power bank or wall plug.
